The way we work is centred around the core values, experience and expertise of our team in; anthropology, architecture, engineering and construction. Our team of Architects, Engineers and construction managers have the necessary skills to assess, design, plan and build projects in the most remote and challenging locations around the world.

ASSESS
We work with our partners from the very beginning of a project; to understand their capacity and help them develop a functional, long-term and maintainable programme. Our team uses anthropological research and planning tools that CBC has designed, to evaluate opportunities and devise a feasible project. CBC brings certainty of outcome, predictability on cost and confidence in timeline to delivering ambitious advancements in education.
DESIGN
CBC’s team of Architects, Engineers and construction professionals understand the impact that appropriate and responsible design decisions have on the successful adoption of new education infrastructure. Our design process balances minimising cost, highlighting vernacular architecture and delivering quality learning spaces. We help our partners to re-learn what is considered achievable in extremely remote locations, and design aspirational yet achievable buildings.
PLAN
We have refined and improved our planning process through our experience on past design and build projects in many resource-constrained countries. Our buildability experts will plan every aspect of the project, including; budget, timeline, local suppliers, material procurement, accessibility, transportation, safety, security and construction methodology. We work with local experts, quickly assembling the knowledge required to ensure the success of each project.
BUILD
Our activities during the build range from construction administration to advice and support through remote project management. We work with our partners to hire and train local tradespeople, believing this is a sustainable route to promoting the transfer of technical skills and upskilling the local workforce. CBC supports this process with construction professionals and skilled specialists, delivering hands-on training to ensure the build is delivered to the expected quality, on time and to budget.
